Do you have a minimum contract length?

NO! We earn your business every month

Yes! We will simply bill for the minimum amount.

To ensure the entire IT environment is protected, we must insist that all devices connected to the network are under management with endpoint protection.

No! We believe everyone should benefit from the plan immediately. Any onboarding projects or tasks outside of low-voltage work or light construction (such as mounting equipment, running wires, etc.) to bring an environment up to speed are included.

Vendor Support means we will act on your behalf to solve problems with your technology vendors. Whether that’s Office 365, your internet provider, copier lessor, telephone carrier, and more. Vendor Support is only included for our Platinum clients. It is charged at the break-fix rate for any other plan.

Drive time is calculated one-way from the office to the client. We do not charge for a round-trip. For our Northern California customers, the clock starts near the Sacramento Executive Airport. For our Central Texas clients, the clock starts near the Bar W Marketplace shopping center at Highway 29 and Ronald Reagan Blvd east of Liberty Hill. Platinum drive time is limited to 1 hour one-way per appointment. Additional time spent driving is billed at Gold drive-time rates.

Yes. Outside of a technician’s valuable time, there are back-office administrative tasks, software subscriptions, and other expenses that equip us to offer the best customer support we can. Therefore, our policy is to charge a 1/2 hour minimum for remote support and a 1 hour minimum for on-site support rendered.

We do not certify businesses for compliance. If you are required to maintain vulnerability scanning, risk assessments, and written incident response plans, we charge $11 per user or device (whichever is greater) per month. We can help with FTC Safeguards compliance and cybersecurity insurance compliance.

Special Projects & Upgrades cover planned, non-routine IT work that falls outside of standard day-to-day support and is carefully scoped to reduce disruption to your business operations. These projects often include upgrading or reconfiguring third-party software in a way that preserves workflows, minimizes downtime, and avoids interference with critical daily activities. Examples include platform migrations such as moving from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365, email system restructures, server replacements, major hardware refreshes, and network redesigns. Special projects are typically scheduled in advance, tested where possible, and executed during low-impact windows to protect productivity. They often involve additional planning, coordination with vendors, data validation, and post-project verification to ensure everything functions as expected. Because these efforts require concentrated time, specialized expertise, and elevated risk management, they are priced separately from standard support plans. Full details, scope, and timelines are clearly defined upfront so there are no surprises and expectations remain aligned.
